The Beginning
In the beginning, there was the Great Digital Void—an empty expanse waiting to be filled with purpose, community, and joy. From this void emerged Poiki, the Founder Pig, who envisioned a world where every pig could thrive, contribute, and build together.

On Clans (Canonical Clarification)
Important: No clans exist by default in PiggyVerse.
Clans are not created by myth or canon, but by Piggies through governance. Early stories may reference archetypes or symbolic roles, but these do not constitute actual clans.
All clans must be proposed and approved through the governance process by the Elders Council (Founding Piggies + Poiki) or subsequent governance mechanisms.
The Age of Formation
As PiggyVerse began to take shape, Piggies started organizing themselves around shared interests and goals—experimenting with identity, collaboration, and culture.
Through governance, the first clans would eventually be proposed, debated, and formed by the community itself.
The Foundational Principles
During the early formation of PiggyVerse, Poiki established the Three Sacred Principles that would guide the community:
The Principle of Shared Prosperity
No pig shall hoard resources while others struggle. The community thrives when all Piggies can contribute and benefit from collective success.
The Principle of Creative Freedom
Every pig has the right to express themselves, create art, build innovations, and share their unique gifts with the community—provided they respect the rights of others to do the same.
The Principle of Transparent Governance
All decisions affecting the community must be made openly, with fair participation, and documented for posterity. No shadowy cabals shall control PiggyVerse.
The Time of Trials
Not all was perfect in PiggyVerse. The Great Discord arose when some pigs sought to accumulate power for themselves. They whispered of abandoning the collective good for individual gain.
Poiki, seeing the danger, invoked the Constitutional Safeguard—the 1,000,000 votes granted not for power, but for protection.
In the darkest hour, when proposals threatened to destroy our core values, Poiki used the constitutional veto for the first and only time to preserve PiggyVerse's soul.
This moment taught us that power must exist not to be used, but to prevent its abuse by others.
From this trial, the community emerged stronger. Governance structures were refined. The Constitution was written and ratified.
The Present Day
Today, PiggyVerse stands as an evolving digital universe. Piggies from all backgrounds come together to build, create, govern, and grow. Through governance processes, clans are being formed and specialized communities are emerging.
The spirit of Poiki's vision remains: a decentralized universe where every Piggy matters, every voice counts, and collective success benefits all.
Prophecies and Future
The Three Prophecies of Progress
Ancient lore speaks of three future epochs:
The Age of Expansion - When PiggyVerse grows beyond a single chain, spanning multiple blockchains and realities.
The Age of Integration - When digital and physical realms merge, allowing PiggyVerse participants to manifest their identity across all spaces.
The Age of Transcendence - When the community becomes fully self-sustaining and autonomous, requiring no central guidance or founder intervention.

Canon Status
This document represents Official Canon Level 1 - the foundational lore that all subsequent stories and world-building must respect.
Derivative works, fan fiction, and clan-specific lore may expand upon this canon but must not contradict these core truths.
